Despite having a breathing problem growing up (severe asthma), I didn't take my breath so seriously until my cancer diagnosis, until I didn't know how many breaths I had to go.
Since 2017 I have delved into various breathwork trainings and practices. Read many books on breathing and I can't quite believe actually written my own Breathing Through Cancer course!
This year I will have run the course 3 times. The feedback has been wonderful and it continues to evolve.
“The quality of your breath, is the quality of your life” - Gurmukh
Quality of life is of upmost importance to me now after cancer. It really should have been before also, but anyway!
The quality of my breath was poor for many many years. I stopped me participating in various sports activities, it affected my concentration, it affected my quality of life. I just thought that there was nothing I could do about it and that was my life.
Turns out, we can improve the quality of our breath and therefore the quality of our life!
My intention with what I think is the world's first Breathing Through Cancer course, is to inform, inspire (a word that comes from breath ;)) and improve quality of life.
Have you ever had a breathing issue and later been diagnosed with cancer?
Yes, asthma
Yes, other respiratory issue
No but cancer made me breathless
